1. What is a cookie?
A cookie or tracer is information recorded or consulted on your device when using a site or digital service. Some tracers are essential for safety and operation. Others are used to measure the audience, personalize a service or carry out advertising.
2. Tracers currently used
With your consent, two measurement tools are enabled: Google Analytics 4 (Google) and the internal counter connected to Cockpit Thalionis. They measure visited pages and actions such as demo or contact requests. Google receives navigation data and technical information according to its service; the internal counter uses a random browser identifier and a session identifier. Hashing an identifier does not by itself guarantee anonymity. The IP address needed for network connectivity and any technical logs must be distinguished from counter statistics. No CV, test response or text entered in the form is intentionally included in measurement events.
3. Studio and secure spaces
Studio Thalionis and authenticated spaces may use cookies strictly necessary for connection, security, choice of language, temporary conservation of the state of a course and protection against unauthorized access. Without these tracers, some functions cannot be provided.
4. Consent
Audience measurement remains disabled until you accept. Refusal does not prevent browsing the site or sending a contact request. Reopen the banner using ‘Manage cookies’ in the footer. Withdrawal stops new measurement events and removes measurement identifiers accessible to the site; the page reloads to stop already loaded tools. It does not retroactively erase data already transmitted. Strictly necessary service trackers remain separate.
5. Duration
Acceptance or refusal is remembered in browser local storage for up to six months (183 days), after which you are asked again. The internal counter identifier is renewed when consent expires; the session identifier is held in session storage. GA4 cookies are configured for a maximum of 183 days without automatic extension. Their presence depends on consent, browser and Google settings. These browser lifetimes do not describe retention of data already received by providers. Consent can be withdrawn before expiry.
6. Browser management
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary trackers may prevent secure spaces from connecting or functioning properly.
7. Update and contact

8. Providers and countries
Vik Consulting SRL is established in Belgium; the identified Cockpit counter VPS is in France with OVHcloud. Google Analytics is a Google service which may involve international processing under its terms. The privacy policy sets out transfer rules for people in Switzerland and the EEA.
